Novitas was launched in March 2011 to help people meet the cost of their divorce. With credit from banks increasingly difficult to obtain, and solicitors needing payment as they go along, cash-flow can be challenging for people ahead of receiving their divorce settlement.

The founders of Novitas are leading experts in wealth management and litigation and saw the opportunity to create Novitas after being approached by many top family solicitors to help fund cases.

As a result, Novitas has created a loan service designed to run alongside the legal proceedings and pay for the solicitor’s fees plus any disbursements to Barristers or other experts that may be required.

The firm is licensed under the consumer credit act and continues to evolve its services to help the broadest range of people possible.
